CHALK Preschool Program (Ages 2 through 6)

Full Day
7:30 am – 5:30 pm

Morning Half Day
8:30 am – 12:00 pm

PM Extended Day
12:00-5:30 pm
First come first served basis.
Open to advanced sign up or day of, if available.

DAILY SCHEDULE: Content and length of activities are based on age and program.

How we spend our days…

Drop off and Free Play
Table activities, dress-up, blocks, art, library

Circle Time
Sing a good morning song, calendar, weather, story/activity based on the theme of the week, foreign language

Snack
Fruit, vegetables, crackers, yogurt, pretzels, cheese

Gross Motor
Indoor and/or outdoor options for teacher and/or child led activities based on expanding energy using large muscle groups

Center Time
Stations providing activities in art, math/science, language arts, fine/gross motor, sensory table

Closing Circle/Music
Songs and musical instruments, what we did today discussion… “that’s a wrap”

Free Play/Pick-up
Free play-dramatic play, manipulatives, puzzles
